Brussels, Belgium. December 8th, 2018. Around 1000 yellow vest demonstrators converged on central Brussels to protest against government policy and tax increases. The police were present in very large numbers to avoid any spillover. The European Quarter was particularly well protected.
Clashes between police and demonstrators took place at the crossroads between Boulevard du Régent and Rue Lambermont. Several dozen administrative arrests took place.
