Freelens Mentor 2017, Session #2 in Brussels – Finalist with Stars & Rain

On May 4th, at IHECS in Brussels, I had the pleasure to be selected for the second session of Mentor Program 2017 with my story “Stars & Rain” with 6 others photographers.

I had the opportunity to show this story to a great jury composed of:

Thierry Maroit (Coordinator of the media department at IHECS), Jean-Marc Bodson (Teacher at school 75 and photo critic at La Libre Belgique), Johanna de Tessières (Picture Editor and photojournalist at La Libre Belgique), Frédéric Pauwels (Professor of photography at the Obscura workshop and photojournalist), Virginie Nguyen Hoang (Administration at Freelens and photojournalist), Xavier Canonne (Director of the Museum of Photography of Charleroi), Albert Masias (Photo editor at Doctors without Borders).

At the end of this great evening, I felt really honored to receive the People’s Favorite Prize equally with Rebecca Topakian. Thomas Morel-Fort received the Jury’s Favorite Prize! Congratulation to them!

Now, next step will be organized in Paris at the end of the year!
